Regions of the tongue

Their are four regions on the tongue they are:

Bitter

Sour

Salty

Sweet

You taste sweet on the region on the tip of your tongue. You taste Sour and salty on the sides of your tongue. You taste sweet on the tip of your tongue. The tip of your tongue picks up nutritive value and triggers your metabolic system. The back of your tongue triggers your rejection reflexes. (most bitters are poisons, so once it reaches the back of the tongue your reflexes kick in.
