Change Blindness

After watching this video, along with the gorilla video we watched in class, it  is easier to accept the fact that we truly do not see all that is around us. When the narrator of the video says that we will be answering questions at the end of the video, we seem to focus on the conversation rather than what the people in the scene are wearing or doing. With this selective attention, we miss major things. On Facebook, there are constantly articles about certain movies or TV shows forgetting to take out or add something to a scene to have it make sense, and when we read these articles, we realize how much we don't notice when watching a movie or show. Obviously, everyone wants to think that they notice everything, but in reality, it is not true. These tests are great ways to show people this fact because most people are in doubt.
