I finally decided to take the face blind test that we had discussed in class. My results of the test told me I was scored at a 65% accuracy whereas a person with normal face recognition scored at about 85%. This actually shocked me because I believed I was pretty good at recognizing faces and this test proved that I was mistaken. Some of the faces I had actually guessed other celebrities that looked like the subject I was being shown. I even recognized some faces but I was unable to put a name to the face and ultimately got them wrong. This test makes me wonder if I actually have a problem with face recognition or I do not know enough celebrities to have a fair chance at this test.
