Have you ever tried to tickle yourself and it doesn't work? Well, this video explains why we can't tickle ourselves. It is partly due to the Cerebellum preparing you for a sensation. There is something that happens that is called active inference that doesn't allow your body to react to the sensation because your brain already knows it's coming.
