Ordinal-Linguistic Personification

I read about synesthesia in this text and for another class, so it made me want to do some further research about the different types of it.  I was particularly interested in a variation called "ordinal-linguistic personification." This occurs when sequences such as letters or numbers are associated with personalities.  For instance, a person with this might describe "a" as a "rude letter" or the number "7" as delicate and feminine. Synesthesia occurs when there are extra links between some or all of the senses- and it seems very interesting!
