This is a link from Buzzfeed News that explains how scientists have grown vocal cords from human tissue they have collected from patients through surgery and a cadaver. This breakthrough will hopefully help to replace people's vocal cords that have damage. This is a major breakthrough for scientists and for the people with damaged vocal cords because the treatments they have now aren't so great. "It will help the voiceless".
