Rotating Tunnel Illusion
If you have ever been in a fun house or a haunted house, you may have came across a rotating tunnel that you remember fallen down in when trying to cross it. You may be surprised to know that the tunnel does not actually rotate, but instead uses lights that light up in unison to appear like the tunnel is spinning. While the tunnel may not be actually spinning, our eyes think they are. Our joints and our ears sense that we are not actually moving. However, the brain receives contradicting signals from the receptors, causing us to become off balance and dizzy in the tunnel.
